    everybody!

    Now let's work!

Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.

This time, I'm giving you the number of vowels in each sentence.

1- To remove or loosen (something) by taking out screws, or with a twisting or screwing action. ..... (rnwcs) 2

2- To take very smal bites (of). ..... (bnlb) 2

3- Sly; clever in a deceitful way. ..... (nnncg) 2

    4- A synonym of "painful". ..... (rs) 2

    5- A wax model (usually of a well-known person. ..... (xkwrw) 2

6- To bring the foot down with force on the ground. ..... (mtps) 1

7- Not working; not in use. ..... (ld) 2

8- To feel annoyed about something because one thinks it is unfair, insulting etc. ..... (strn) 2

9- A stand with three legs, especially for a camera. ..... (prdt) 2

10- To make or become fat. ..... (tnft) 2

    Good luck and have fun!

    Have a great week!

    So long

Hello very dear Marit , back here at last after some miserable times . Hope you are doing better and better . Cheer up , we are here for you and thanks a lot for this coming back . We are glad having new riddles to solve ...do believe we missed you a lot ! All the very best to you and life !

1 ) To unscrew a good Bordeaux or Burgundy bottle of wine , for instance
2 )to nibble , like little bites we have as starters with a drink or what do mice or horrid moths
3 )cunning , like a very clever fox or ...politician!
4 )sore , like a sore sole after walking far too much
5 )waxwork , as wonderfully realistic works by Mme Tussaud in London
6 )to stamp like when freezing cold or with a spoilt child
7 )idle and not become lazy , doing nothing ; have nice hobbies
    8 )to resent with a 'z' as for phonetics ! Not a very useful feeling,though .
9 )a tripod ['trpd], very handy (practical) not to tremble while shooting a film
10)to fatten (just dreadful for French geese and ducks before Christmas time !)

A thousand thanks for making the effort to entertain us again with this pleasant game of yours. Have a quick recovery and rest a lot . See you with pleasure as always .
