pourriez-vous m'indiquer s'il y a des fautes dans ces phrases s'il vous plait?

I was totally afraid to be sent back to France!
Let me tell you about this awful two-week journey !
I can't stay in our room in steerage, so I went up on deck most of time.
I was wet as a rat.

All ney comers had to answer those uestions : you have to pass the medical exam ant this test to be autorize to take a ferry to New York.
They keep me company. I wasn't in Amercia but the foos was American food. Fortunately, my cold went away and the officials told the great news to our dad and uncle : they can come to get me. I have already had the opportunity to sing. Isn't it wonderful ? I'm thinking of you every day.
