    Hello everybody !
Pouvez-vous m'aider à corriger s'il vous plaît mon humble résumé sur la vie de l'extraordinaire aviatrice Amelia Earhart
    Merci pour vos réponses.

The american Amelia Earhart was an aviation pioneer and an exceptional woman. She was born on July 24, 1897 in Atchison, Kansas, in American's heartland.
Earhart gradually got back into aviation in 1927, becoming a member of the American Aeronautical Society's Boston chapter.
Soon, she was selected to be the first woman on a transatlantic flight as a passenger.
This event makes her famous and she became an icon as woman. Amelia has even been an inspiration for the first American Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt.
She hoped her influence would help topple negative stereotypes about women, and open doors for them in every fields.
However, she never gave up to her passion for the aviation.
She amassed a number of distance and altitude records including first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
But beyond her accomplishments as a pilot, she also wanted to make a statement about the role and worth of women. She dedicated much of her life to prove that, like men, women could excel in their chosen professions, and that they could have equal value.
Amelia Earhart was also a member of the National Woman's Party, and an early supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment.
During an attempt to make a circumnavigation flight of the globe in 1937, Amelia disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean.
