    Present /Present Perfect -ing
    Message from lenalekka posted on 18-06-2015 at 09:25:55 (D | E | F)
    Hello,
    Could you help me please?
    Thanks for any reply.

Can we say "I'm working all day but I haven't finished my work yet" instead of "I've been working all day but I haven't finished my work yet"?
Can we use the present continuous with all day?

    Hello,
"I've been working all day but I haven't finished my work yet"? comes naturally to mind.
"I'm working all day but I haven't finished my work yet" sounds wrong.

Can we use the present continuous with all morning? No,not here.
I work all day long but I haven't finished yet.
You can insist on a fact: I am working from seven a.m. to eight p.m. these days!
I kept working all morning but I haven't finished yet. (past dated action: preterite)
I worked relentlessly this morning but I haven't finished yet.
