4- To take on the financial responsibility for (a person, project etc), often as a form of advertising or for charity. ..... (prssn)
5- A kind of gnawing animal covered with long prickles (called quills), and larger than a hedgehog. ..... (nrppc) 4
6- Having no conscience or scruples; wicked. ..... (lspnrsc) 5
7- Covered with ink. ..... (kn)
8- To fix (skin, bone etc) from one part of the body on to or into another part of the body. ..... (rtgf)
    9- A lack of order. ..... (rrsdd)

Hello very dear Marit , hello dear company ,

Glad to see you must be fine , now ! Would you need polishing your Canadian French ? Correct me if I am wrong , but you are a French speaker , aren't you ?

1 ) a midwife : interesting and funny name : the 'wife ' in the middle of husband and wife for a good delivery
2 ) a welcoming doormat for wiping and scrabbing our and your feet from rain, dust, mud, earth ...
    3 ) a swivel [' swvl]
4 ) to sponsor and not to support a member of the family
5 ) a (hugely pricky and stinky ) porcupine you might meet in a zoo in Europe .
6 ) unscrupulous : the kind of person you keep away from and even ban from your own environment
    7 ) inky like Japanese artist Hokusai ' s works ( inks ,rather ) . Inky or/and sticky fingers of kiddies !
8 ) to graft ( kidneys, liver, lungs, eyes , heart ...and so on . No brains , yet unfortunate for some silly people and rough deciders
9 ) complete disaster : ( mental) disorder( untidiness in little kids ' and teenagers ' rooms !)
10 ) a relic ( mostly religious for a Saint for instance / remains for all sorts I should say

As usual , friend , thank you ever so much for giving us such a relaxing and intelligent little game each week from' far , far away' in Shawinigan where probable Jumblies might be living too, as some do overhere ! Check in Edward Lear 's 'Nonsense book' , will you ?Did you find the poem ?
Take care , stand still , don't catch any more germs and enjoy your week ! See you in the sun .
