    Bonjour,
étudiant en audiovisuel j'ai besoin d'écrire un texte en anglais pour une vidéo, pourriez-vous m'indiquer si mon anglais est correct, s'il y a des erreurs ou comment je peux améliorer le texte.
    D'avance merci !!

In 2005 I bought my first camera an old DVcam on Ebay. When I received it, it came with two DV tapes and one of them was not erased. It was a vacation movie of a french boy in an host family in San Francisco. The first time I watched this tape I was amazed by the power of these images of people I don’t know, living far away from me … But I was too young to do something with it so I kept the tape in a drawer. Years later I decided to make a video out of it, here's the result.

    Hello,

    A few minor points.
eBay is an unusual word in that it's the second letter that needs to be capitalised , so it's eBay not Ebay...'French' should start with a capital letter. Proper names in English (almost) all start with capitals..'An host family' - the indefinite article before a consonant is not 'an'...In the last sentence you need some kind of pause like a dash (un tiret) after "..out of it.." . Otherwise "here's the result" should be a new sentence.
