    Caries/ plural or singular
    Message from diego0105 posted on 21-05-2014 at 14:03:43 (D | E | F)
    Hi everyone
I'm Diego, and I have a question, that is,
Is "Caries" in "dental caries" singular or plural?
    Thanks for your answers.

    Hello,
if you double click on the word caries, then you have access to a dictionary which says:
caries nplplural noun: Noun always used in plural form--for example, "jeans," "scissors." (dental cavities) in French: carie nf

"A dental cavity" would be the singular.
