    Bonsoir à tous ,
j'ai préparé un texte portant sur le rêve américain pour un devoir d'anglais. Pourriez-vous me dire s'il y a des erreurs s'il vous plaît? .
Merci d'avance pour votre aide !

My grandparents told me last week during a family meal their life when they were younger and more precisely their emigration to New York in 1920.
They left for America In this time , America is presented as an asylum 's land available to all Those Who hope to build up Themselves , by Their Work and Their recklessness , a new life . They wanted to live the American dream, they were to search for a better life , freedom , make a fortune from scratch and especially looking for a job because New York was a city with an economic and financial dynamism .
To go to America , they managed to get the money to pay for the ticket but the trip was horrible. The emigrant were many on board these ships, they were crowded , and their journey lasted seven weeks. Once arrived in America they struggled to integrate with the American people because my grandparent were black. They even were homeless for 1 month . But they realized their dream avainet and achieved their goals , which were to go to America to live the American dream.
I myself do not feel immigrant , because life has changed a lot in America , people are less racist and I managed to get into society and I found work
