Hello everyone !
What about playing 'Mastermind' with English words?
You don't feel like working ... Feel like playing ?
Let's play 'Mastermind', you all know the game ... You start with 10 (or 15?) points and lose 1 point each time someone suggests a word ...
Let's suppose I post :
(a six-letter word) that everyone knows! John suggests TABLES : my answer is ////// when none of your letters is/are in my word. If all the letters are in it, but in the wrong places, I post ££££££ and if they are in the right place ******.
My answer for TABLES would be : *£
Mary suggests : PENCIL : I answer : *££
Are you going for it ?

hi here4u,
I'm not sure if you are starting with a new word or continuing with the one you were thinking of in your example....
but if you are continuing with your original word, how about this guess: LEADER
Enjoy the rest of the day!

Just a point ... to answer an mp and give the information to everyone, when I say that LEADER has 2 letters in the right places, I'm not giving any indication of which letters and where ... (in LEADER, there are 2 common letters with my 6-letter word, but those 2 letters- whichever they are- are in the right places !) Is that clearer ? I hope so ...
