Bonjour,

J'aimerais savoir quelle est la différence entre "High School" et "University", est-ce que l'un désigne le bâtiment, l'institution en elle-même et l'autre le système en général ?

-High school plutôt, ( secondary school) = grammar school = lycée ( bâtiment ' Redlands 'Grammar School ') et niveau jusqu'à terminale . ( lower and upper sixths)
- University ( after A levels ( bac) : enseignement / études dans le supérieur : troisième cycle . Comme en France où vous allez en faculté pour suivre vos études universitaires ( Sorbonne , Diderot , Charles V...), you can go to Oxford or Cambridge University but you study at a College ( King's College, Magdalen's College ...and so on )

Here a High School is equivalent to a lycée.
As a simple explanation:
A university is where you go to continue your education after high school.
You can also go to a college, which can also be considered a small university.

A university has many colleges (college of arts, college of sciences, etc.)
A college has departments (Dept. of arts, dept. of science, etc.)
