    Bonjour,
J'ai rédigé une lettre de motivation pour un échange scolaire. Pourriez-vous m'indiquer s'il y a des fautes ou s'il existe des structures moins plaquées sur le français.
    Merci pour vos réponses. !

    Dear Sir or Madam

After having discussed with the person in charge of the International Relations of my school, on the opportunities offered to the students concerning studying abroad, I decided to fill in an application form. Highly interested, I propose to you to examine my candidature.

I am currently a second year engineering student at l'École X. I folow the Master of Energy and Environmental Engineering program. I would like to be an engineer in green building and that is why study at Y university seems to me very interesting.

Indeed, next year I am going to do a double degree in civil engineering at Tongji university. So I could folow mechanical Engineering courses at Karlstad university to prepare my double degree and achieve my professional project.
These courses would make possible to have double competence in Energy/Environment and building.

Futhermore, the fact that these skills are proposed at the university of Y is a chance for me.
Besides, the beautiful landscapes, this exchange reprensents for me a huge opportunity to study abroad.
It is a good occasion to discover a new culture, new traditions et meet new people.
Study abroad will be good for my personal development too. A semester spent abroad will allow me to have a bigger open-mind and a better critical mind about France.
And, at the same time, this exchange will alow me to gain a different vision of studies at a European school of engineering in Sweden. And Sweden is know for his high quality of education.
Finally, study abroad would be a personal experiment without any doubt very enriching.

    Best regards

    Hello,

Alors, je ne suis pas the best en anglais, mais, je pense que les quelques corrections apportées à ta lettre sont "pas mal". Disons, qu'au moins , tu n'es pas sans rien...

    Dear Manager

I liaised with the person in charge of the International Relations of my school about the opportunity to study abroad. Consequently I filled in an application form. Highly interested, I propose my candidature for an examination.
Currently in my second year of engineering at l'École X where I am studying the Master of Energy and Environmental engineering program. I would like to be an engineer in green building and that the reason why I would like to study at Y university.
Indeed, next year I will prepare a double degree in civil engineering at Tongji University. So I will able to follow a mechanical engineering training at Karlstad University and achieve my professional purpose.
This training would bring me both competences in Energy/Environment and building, moreover, these skills taught at the university of Y are an opportunity for me.
So, in addition to the beautiful landscape, this exchange would be for me a huge chance to study abroad. That is a good occasion to find out a new culture, some new traditions and meet new people. Study abroad would be also great for my personal development. A semester spent abroad will allow me to be a bigger open-minded and critical person about France. Finally, at the same time, this exchange will allow me to get a different vision of studies in an European school of engineering in Sweden. Sweden which is well-known for its high quality in education. Moreover, studying abroad would be a personal without a shadow of a doubt a great experience for me.

    Best regards
