2. And look at these those birds in the background, they look so real they could fly !
6. Look at those these little children here, on the left. They really look miserable !
I think that these sentences are similar. Why do they use "those" and then "these"?

Good morning,
Well the difference is quite simple to understand:
use THESE for a plural and the things, the objects or the people have to be near , close to you.
Whereas THOSE, also for a plural, is used when the objects or the people are away from you.
Try to remember: these - here
those - there

Hello,
In order to understand the difference between these two terms we need first to understand the difference between “this” and “that”.
"Those" plural for "that" for those far from us.
"These" plural for "This". from these near us.
