Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.
The number of vowels is given in 4 out of 10 answers.
1- The distance from one end to the other of an object, period of time etc. ..... (tlnhg)
2- A building built on rocks, coastline etc with a flashing light to guide or warn ships. ..... (tlshhg) 4
3- The dust that remains after anything is burnt. ..... (hs)
4- The firm flesh in which the teeth grow. ..... (mg)
5- To be mixed-up. ..... (fdcsn) 3
6- A mixture of clay and lime (usually with sand and water added) used for sticking things (for instance, bricks) together in building and to make concrete for making very hard surfaces. ..... (mtcn)
7- A rush of water which cleans a toilet. ..... (slhf)
