On or at/help

Hello everybody!
Please, help me because I'm confused whether I should use the preposition 'on' or 'at' in this sentence:
My brother likes our family gathering (at weekends)or (on weekends)?
Thank you in advance!

Hello,
I'd say "at weekends".
Have a nice day

Thank you so much Komiks!
Would you explain me why?
For example I can say I work on Sundays, isn't it?
So ,if I say I work on weekends,is it false?

Re-hello
Have a look here : Link
Apparently, we can say both, but "at weekends" is British English and "on weekends" is American English
Have a nice afternoon

Hello.
I'd say:
My brother likes our family gathering every weekend.
