Hello everybody:
I am from China.Could anybody give me a hand to explain my question below please?
Sentence: I am going to school although I don't feel well.
Question: Can I replace " although " with " even " without changing the meaning of the sentence?
If not,why?
I assume that even is the same as even if.
Waiting for your kind help, please make it as much detailed as you can.
Thank you very much.
Danny

Hello,
There will be a difference in meaning.
I am going to school although I don't feel well...that happens today; yesterday you were fine
I go to school even if I don't feel well...that may happen at any time, you do want to go to school every day (verb go in present simple)
You can't use 'even' alone; you'll use 'even if'.
