Hi aurabcn!
Well, for my opinion
"such" is used when you want to identify a thing.
E.g After comitting a mistake, your father will tell you "such mistake should never happen again"
"such a or an" is used for appreciation (for bad or for good).
E.g For not listening to his recommandations, your father will say "you are such a stubborn boy!" Same case for noum using "an" instead of "a" like an elephant.
I hope you've got it and that I've helped you!

Hello,
I have never heard such nonsense (uncountable noun)
I have never seen such a film, such a boring film (countable noun)
I have never been so interested, so tired, so happy (so + adjective)
of course the plural will be: I have never seen such* boring films!
so:
I have never seen so boring a film!
I have never seen such a (boring) film!
