A "place in line" is your position in a line of people.

To "ensure" means "to make sure that something happens".
"Good" means "favorable".
A "good" position would be toward the front of the line.

'ensure a good place in line' has two different meanings.
Literally means 'let yourself be good at line or queue'
but generally it means, 'put on yourself at great and better position in any terms of situations than others'
I think you could get it
