    Message from lamar posted on 10-02-2011 at 15:32:44 (D | E | F)
    Hello,
I really enjoy knowing anything related to Sociolinguistic.
But actually I do not know good sources for that.
So, I hope from you (with your permission) can give me names of books, links, videos about Sociolinguistics especially if it's related to English communities.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
sociolinguistics is 60 years in the 20th century in the United States the rise of a first edge of the discipline. It mainly refers to the use of linguistics and sociology theory and methods, from the perspective of different social sciences to study the social nature of language and differences in a discipline. On this definition, there are some different interpretations. Some scholars believe that the language of this study should focus on the role of social factors link the study of language variation; some scholars believe the language of sociology, the study of language and social relationships, to describe the materials used and the Linguistics explain social behavior.
I do not know is there help for you
