hello,
I think we would say "holiday job". Job is much better than 'work' because it is temporary while Work, to me, is more on a long term basis.
Then I am not sure about 'holiday' you can also think of "seasonal" or if necessary 'summer job'.
No translation is reliable without a good context

Hello, computer gerondif speaking !!
work: some work, it is more of a concept.
a job: It is when a company gives you a job and pays you for it.
I found a new job, a holiday job ! This holiday job was hard work !
Repairing my car gave me a lot of work.
I had various jobs in my life.
I am out of work at the moment/ unemployed/.
