    Future tense
Message from mia1 posted on 22-10-2009 at 14:10:29

    Hello,
When do you use present continuous tense and when - future with 'going to' for events in the near future?
    Thanks for your answers.

    Hello,
First of all you can go here; it's the English version of the site:
    Lien Internet

Here are some tests about the future:
    Lien Internet
    _

be going to = when the decision is already made/a prediction
I am going to start working hard
    Look, it's going to rain

present-ing = for an action that has been planned
    I'm leaving next week

    Best wishes.
