Hello,
I need your help here please:
"Let me give you (A LITTLE) advice. Take up a sport like tennis if you want to meet people."
Can I put LITTLE instead of A LITTLE?
Thank you.

Hello,
You can't give a little or little advice; you give some advice or a piece of advice instead.
Best wishes.

You most certainly can give a little advice, just as you can have a little milk in your coffee.
You can also give little advice, just as you can have little milk in your coffee.
a little = un peu (de)
little = peu (de), pas assez (de)

Hello,
Well, as I would never say :
Can you give me a little advice?
but I would certainly say:
Can you give me a piece of advice?
Can you give me some advice?
I think you have to make your choice
Best wishes.

Yes, "advice" is an uncountable noun. Maybe you can translate it into French with the word "conseillage". (If this word even exists. )

Greetings,
lucile83 is right in her statement that you give some advice or a piece of advice.
However, You can give a little bit of advice. In US English, we just shorten it to 'giving a little advice'.
Hope this helps

Of course you can give "some" advice or "a piece of" advice. I never questioned that.
But you can also give "a little" advice, "a bit of" advice, or "a little bit of" advice.
You can even give "little" advice to someone who would not appreciate it!
