Good luck to you all !

    " Le trèfle à quatre feuilles ,
    Assure mariage à la belle ! "

    The Undies of Room 7

So it was on this particular evening that Marion and Sam met and started their bewitching love story. In the end they, like every other guest, left the Castevets' by the same little trap door under the garden. "It's more convenient for everybody," the beautiful redhead laughed out loud to herself, quite plastered, in a strange-sounding laugh. The brand new couple had crossed their fingers so that nothing bad would happen to them!

For the man of her life, Marion dropped certain inhibitions. She left her desk for such-and-such reason. One hour that quickly became two, three; once a week, then several times. Her boss trusted her completely, really.

Marion had discovered love: true love! In a room -- Room 7, in fact -- reserved to certain regular customers of an Irish pub "The Four-Leaf Clover" where they had their first drinks: she a bloody mary, he a "silent parrot" . It was a trendy place whose charm Sam had made her discover starting with their first rendez-vous.

This particular Tuesday, a July 4 (NB: Independence Day aux US!), it was hot and humid. They were again intertwined, with moist bodies, from the look of the fan blades. On an impulse, Sam couldn't help admitting his failing marriage, his urgent intention to divorce for her and his lack of money. She hardly raised an eyebrow she loved him so much and found him sincere. How could such a man have been single? Her blue-eyed trust was won over, ready to do anything to live so intensely. To give him her life, even!

Little by little, Marion was changing.

Hello, Violet, and thank you !

Underwear in room 7 / The hidden side of room 7 ***

So it was at that very unusual party that Marion and Sam met and their bewitching love story began. They, as every guest by the way, had eventually left the Castevets' house by the secret little door at the far end of the garden. " It's more convenient for everybody !", the attractive redhead guffawed, quite tipsy, in a strangely sounding laugh. The very new couple had crossed their fingers so that nothing nasty could happen to them.

For the man of her life, Marion silenced a few scruples. She slipped out from her office on some or other pretext. One hour, then soon two, three... once a week, then several times. She had still the complete trust of her boss, actually / Her boss kept still relying on her, actually.

Marion had discovered love : real love ! In a room - the room 7, by the way - the one especially reserved for some regular customers of an Irish pub "The four-leaf clover" (shamrock ?...since Irish...)where they used to drink first: she, a "Bloody Mary", he, a "Silent parrot". It was a switched-on spot, whose charm Sam had made her discover as early as their first rendez-vous.

On that Tuesday, a July 4, the weather was hot and muggy. They were lying still embraced, with moist bodies, looking at the slow blades of the fan. Carried along by his own impetus ( it sounds long, doesn't it ?), Sam couldn't help admitting his failing marriage, his urgent intention to divorce for her and his lack of money. She hardly turned any hair she loved him so much and found him so sincere. How could such a man have been a bachelor ? The blue-eyed innocent was fascinated, ready to do anything to live so intensely. To give him her life, even !

    Hello Violet!

The shady side of room 7
And so it was, at this strange gathering, that Marion and Sam became acquainted and began their bewitched love story. They, along with all the other guests, eventually left the Casavets' house through the small secret door at the bottom (end) of the garden. "It's easier for everybody" guffawed the beautiful red head, drunkenly, with a strange sounding laugh. The newly formed couple had crossed their fingers to ward off bad luck.

For the man in her life, Marion ignored some of her scruples. She used to escape from the office for one reason or another. One hour became two, even three once a week, then more often. It was true that her boss completely trusted her.

Marion had discovered Love : TRUE LOVE! In a room, number 7 in fact, reserved for certain regulars of an Irish pub called "The four-leaf clover" they first used to drink: she a "Bloody Mary" and he a "Dumb Parrot". It was a trendy pub with charm, which Sam let her discover on their first date.

On that Tuesday, on that 4th of July, it was hot and humid. They were still entwined together, their bodies were moist, watching the slow blades of the ventilator. In the excitement, in a row, Sam couldn't help confessing to his failed marriage, his intention to get divorced quickly for her sake and his lack of money. Marion didn't bat an eyelid, she loved him so much and she found him sincere. How could such a man be a bachelor? The credulous girl with blue eyes was captivated...ready for anything in order to live life to the full...even to lay down her own life.
Bit by bit, Marion was changing.

    Thank you Violet!...

    Hello here's my try:

    The undersides of room 7

So it was on this very particular evening that Marion and Sam met and started their bewitching love story. They, as any other guest besides, had at last left the Castevets going through the secret small back-door of the garden. “It is more convenient for everybody” had said the beautiful and quite fuddled read-headed one in a laughter full of strange vibrancies. The new made couple had crossed their fingers so that nothing bad happened to them !

For the man of her life Marion got away from some scruples ! She would escape her office on some or other reason. One hour which quickly became two, three, once then several times a week. Thanks to her skills she succeeded not to be late in her work. Her boss, in fact, kept on trusting her.

Marion had discovered love: the true one! In a room--number 7 actually—the one reserved for some regular customers of an Irish pub “ The Four-Leaf Clover” where they would drink first a “Bloody Mary” for her, a “Mute Parrot” for him. It was a trendy place the charm of which Sam had made her discover as soon as their first date.

On that very Tuesday, a July 4, it was hot and damp. They were still embraced, clammy bodies, looking at the ceiling fan blades slowly revolving. On his impetuosity Sam could not help confessing his broken marriage, his crying intention to get divorced for her and his lack of money. She hardly raised an eyebrow so much she loved him and found him sincere. How could such a man have been single ? The blue-eyed unsuspecting girl was captivated, ready for anything which could make her life so intense. Even give him her own life !

Little by little Marion was changing…

The hidden gimmicks of Room 7

So it was at that very uncommon party that Marion and Sam got to know each other and initiated a bewitching love story of their own. They had eventually gone their way out of the Castelet’s, as every other guests either, through the little secret door at the far end of the backyard. ”That’s more convenient for everyone” had burst out the pretty redhead, quite tipsy, with a weird sounding laugh. The brand-new couple had crossed their fingers so that no mishap could befall them.

For the man of her life, Marion silenced some scruples. She was now escaping her office on such-and-such pretence. A one hour leave that soon stretched to a couple, once a week that soon turned into several weekly leaves. Her boss was keeping on trusting her though.

Marion had found love, real love, in a room – the 7, in fact, reserved for specific regulars – of an Irish pub, The Four-Leaf Clover, where they used to start the booze by swallowing in one gulp, she, a Bloody Mary and he, a Dump Parrot. It was a trendy place under the charm of which Sam had put her from their first date.

On that very special Tuesday, July 4, it was muggy weather. Eventually composed, they lay still clasped in a fond embrace, skin moistened with sweat, staring at the revolving ceiling-fan blades. In a sudden fit of energy Sam couldn’t help admitting his wasted wedlock, his urgent intent to divorce for her sake, going up to confessing he was flat moneyless. She did not bat an eyelid, since she loved him and found him sincere. How could such a man have stayed a bachelor? The blue-eyed gullible young little thing was subjugated, ready for anything to live life to that full, even laying down her own life for him.

Marion was undergoing a gradual mutation.

Once more, thank you, Violet, for combining business with pleasure.

Bonjour violet. Voici mon essai, plutôt ma tentative:

The hidden side of room 7.

So it was at this very particular evening reception that Marion and Sam met each other and began their bewitching love story. Then, as anybody else for that matter, had finally gone out of Castevets through the small secret door in the bottom of the garden. The pretty raid haired girl, very tipsy, with a strange tones laugh guffawed: it's more convenient for all of us. The newfound couple kept his fingers crossed that nothing bad should happen to them.

For Mister Right, Marion gave up a few scruples. She escaped from her office for some reason or other... One hour a day, then soon two, then three, then several. It's true, her employer still placed confidence in her.

Marion had discovered the true love. In a room, the 7 in fact, reserved for some regular guests of an Irish pub: the four-leaf clover where they first had a drink, she a bloody-Mary and he a parrot without voice. It was a trendy place of which sam had her discover the charm from their first date.

That Tuesday, a 4 July, it was hot and wet. They were still clasped in a fond embrace, the sweaty bodies, seeing the paddles of the fan. In enthusiasm Sam couldn't stop himself explaining his failed marriage, his urgent need to divorce for her and his lack of money. She hardly turned a hair, she loved him so much and thought he was sincere. How such a man would have been able to be single? The blue eyes credulous girl was captivated, ready to do everything to live so intensely. To give her life too. Little by little Marion was becoming different.

    On Friday 13th at Castevet's.

At first, they had to pass over their hosts' front door by going under a large scale . When they had got in the hall, it was impossible not to see the disturbing black cat, with enigmatic eyes, pointed towards one'self, which was settling on violet cushions of ancestors'armchair .Some guest had suggested to bring an odd and cursed gift .Each one found it ,using imagination .

Marion had just been set on the left of the hostess with flaming red hair. Fortunatly,Sam managed to be sitting as near as possible by the pretty fair woman whom he had immediatly spotted . They were thirteen around the table . Some seemt not to mind it,others burst out laughing ! Hostess' best friend,a woman called Joan, had offered her knives . They talked informally about those stupid superstitions many people were encumbered by,as themselves were sneering at,and also of the surprising variants from a country to another . All of them sneering ? Was it true, indeed ? Anyway, they did all that's needed to bring about a curse .

During that time,Sam's charm was fully working . Marion, playful, tipsy by that fine champagne she was discovering, was drinking handsome brown haired's words.
To hell with superstition ! On one hand, ingenuousness was tottering, on the other, they both were attracted .

Sam gave Marion a rendezvous by phone for the next day . They would agree about a day very soonly,a nice hour and a cosy place where to keep they first tête-à-tête .

    Traduction du 3 :

The hidden of the 7th bedroom .

So it was at that very special evening party Marion and Sam met and began their enchanting love story . Themselves, besides as every guest else, had, at the end, gone out of Castevets' by the secret small door,at the back of the garden .
"It's easier for everyone"had guffawed the beautiful red-haired ,tipsy a lot, whith a laugh that strangely sounded . The just formed couple had crossed fingers so that nothing bad should happen to them !

For the apple of her eye, Marion gave up a few scruples ! She used to escape from her office for a reason or another . One hour quickly becoming two, three, once by a week, then several . Thanks to her qualities, she succeeded in being never late in her work . Her boss was still trusting her, indeed .

Marion had discovered love : the true one ! In a bedroom -- the seventh,in fact-- kept for some assiduous customers of a certain Irish pub "The fourleaves clover" where they firstly used to drink :she,a "Bloody - Mary",he,a"Soundless- Parrot".
It was a trendy place which Sam had made her discover the charm of, at their first rendezvous .

On that Tuesday, on July 4th,it was hot and wet . They were still clasping one each other, their bodies clammy, looking at the slow blades of the ceiling ventilator . Still transported, Sam couldn't keep confessing his failed marriage, intending urgely to get divorced for her and his lack of money .She didn't frown much upon, so strong was her love for him, and so genuine he seemed to be . How such a man might have been bachelor ? The blue - eyed credulous one was subjugated, prepared to dare all for living so intensely . Give him her own life, even !

Little by little, Marion was going another .

For the man of her life, Marion gave up some scruples ! She escaped from her office for any reason. One hour which quickly became two, three, once a week, then several. With her qualities, she succeeded to take no delay in her work. Her boss kept all his confidence, it is right !

Marion had discovered the love : the true ! In a bedroom, the seven, actually, kept for some regular customers of an Irish pub "The four-leaf clover" where they had drunk at first : her, a "Bloody Mary", him, a "Silent Parrot". It was a trendy place whose Sam had shown her the charm form their first date.

That tuesday, a July 4th, it was hot and wet. They were still embraceed, their bodies were sweaty, looking the low blades of the ceiling fan which were turning. In the surge, Sam could not stop himself to reveal his failed wedding, his urgent plan to get divorced for her and his lack of money. She was not very surprised so much she loved him and found him honest.

How a man like him could be single ? The credulous womand with blue eyes was enthralled, ready for everything to live with so much intensity. To give her life, even !

Slowly, Marion was becoming different !

    Hello violet 91 !

About "Green (or white goose) and black undies" - the third part -

The undies or the mystery of the room number 7. Then, it's during this particular evening that Marion and Sam will get to know one another and start their glamorous love story. As any guest for that matter, finally they were yet gone outside the Castevets' house by the narrow and secret black door far end of the garden. "It's easier for everybody" had guffawed the lovely reddish-brown, well drunk, laughing with strange sounds. The new couple had crossed their fingers so that nothing bad occurred. For Mr Right, Marion sacrified some scruples. She escaped from her office for one or another purpose one hour which became soon two, three, once a week, then several. Thanks to her qualities she reached to take no delay about her work. Her manager keeps her his whole confidence. It's true. Marion was fallen in love : the true !. In a room - the number 7 - in fact reserved for some regular people of an Irish pub named "The four-leaf clover" where they drank first she a "Bloody Mary" and he a "Silent Parrot". It was a pub in (fashion) of which Sam had let her know the charm from their first love date. That Tuesday, one 4th of July, it was warm and humide climate. They were still embraced, their wet body, looking the slow blade of the fan which turned in the ceiling. Embarked, Sam couldn't stop himself to admit his missed wedding, his urgent plan to get a divorce for her and his lack of money. She hardly ever bated an eyelid because she loved him so much and thought he was sincere. How that man had had been bachelor (mon point d'interrogation ne fonctionne plus !). The blue eyed guillible was enthralled ready to live so intensively. Thinking even give her own life. Gradually Marion became diferent...

Thanks for your "marrainage". This website is super ! What good idea !!!

    Bonsoir Violet91,

The undersides of the room 7.

So it was on very special evening that Marion and Sam met and started their love story. They, like any other guest, moreover, were finally exited Castevet in by the back door at the bottom of the secret garden. "It's more convenient for all" had laugh loudly the beautiful red, although fuddled, in a strange sounds to laugh. The couple were brand-new, so, they crossed the fingers that nothing bad they arrived.

For the man of her life, Marion gave up some scruples! She escaped from her office for one reason or another. One hour, which soon became two, three, once a week, then several. With her qualities, she reached don't take any backlog. His boss kept him all his confidence, it is true.

Marion had discovered love: true love! In a room - seven, in fact - reserved for certain faithful customers of Irish Pub "The four-leaf clover" Where they first drank , she "Marie-la-Blood," he "parrot-without a voice." That was a place connected which sam had discovered to her the charm from their first appointment.

4 )Very peut accentuer l'endroit-même :that very party. We eventually understood that "Godard's film at the very end "Unfortunately, for me!!" Indeed!

5 )To meet=to make acquaintance with(latin) ."Moi,j'ai des connaissances"..dit Barbara!

    7) Anybody, anyone, any :n'importe..Four people called Somebody,Anybody,Nobody and Everybody were asked to do an important task .Anybody could have done what nobody did ,in fact..

10 )Eclater de rire : cela explose ,donc vers l'extérieur : to burst out +gérondif=to burst out laughing (ici) ou crying (ailleurs)= to guffaw (aucune retenue)

12 ) A brand new car : bien rutilante! A newly formed couple. A brand new couple me paraît matériel..

13 ) Bad :mauvais et "diabolique" .Nasty : méchant. Evil: le Mal .Main droite =Go(o)d # main gauche = Evil .Comme Love and Hatred dans "The night of the Hunter" ,another masterpiece by Charles Laughton.1955.

    14 )Incident: To occur (latin),to happen (cf.perhaps.(per:latin:à travers)peut-être survenant)# to arrive,to come up,down,along (pts de vue)et le vouloir.

"oie blanche" on a dit ?

    16 )Zealous,talented,gifted Marion.(as a secretary I mean so far).

    18 )true--truth--trust (confiance totale)--trusted love,friend. To trust sdy: faire confiance .

    19 ) A secretary's job: génitif générique :catégoriel.

    20 ) Her manager/ her boss/ her Head.

21 ) To discover (elle ne s'y attendait pas ).To find : elle le cherchait ,elle l'a trouvé. To be revealed :plus concret.

Rooms to let .No vacancies. # Room (non comptable):de la place.Enough room to park your car ? "No room,no room for you ,Alice!",not "our"alice.(" in Wonderland" L.Carroll)

23 ) Réserver :to book a seat (spectacle),a trip, a table .To reserve something for future use.

    24 )

..j'ai bientôt terminé.. Merci d'être si attentionnés envers moi.

24 ) Je disais :Lewis Carroll (cf22):"The mad tea party" in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".1865.

    26 ) "Wet!Wet! Wet!" late rock group. Mouillé! C'est trop! Damp :humide,tropical..suffira.

To entwine. To clasp one another (ils se tiennent bien, bien ,bien).

Air conditioning.

To need so much.

On dirait "esclavagée".

    35 ) No doubt (b muet): indubitablement (latin)..A debt (b..muet):une dette.

36 ) To yield : céder (c'est fait!).To change. To turn into somebody else .

37 ) Step by step (si l'on danse avec elle); gradually (si l'on aime la chimie)...et little by little . To break : se rompre,se fissurer (to crack).

    d'avoir tenu bon.

. THE DARK SIDE OF ROOM 7 .

Thus , it was at that very peculiar party Marion and Sam had made acquaintance and opened their spellbound love story .
They, as any other guest in fact, had finally left the Castevets' place walking down the back garden at the very end of which stood a small hidden door. "So much better for all!" the beautiful flaming-red-haired hostess quite tipsy(fuddled), had guffawed with a sort of sardonic sounding laugh. The newly formed couple had kept their fingers crossed so that nothing bad should ever happen to them.

For THE man of her life, Marion dropped some scruples of hers ! She would vanish from her office for such or such reason . One hour soon stretched to two, then three, once a week, then several times. Zealous as she had always been, she managed not to catch any delay in doing her work. Her boss trusted her anyway. No doubt about that.

Marion had just discovered LOVE : TRUE LOVE . In a room---number 7,in fact--which was available for some regular customers of an Irish pub called "The four-leaved shamrock "(four-leaf clover). They usually started , she, with a "Bloody Mary" and he , with a "Talk-me-not Parrot!!" That was a trendy place the charm of which Sam had let her know from their first rendez-vous.

On that particular Tuesday, July 4th (the fourth),the weather was hot and damp. They were lying ,relaxed, with their bodies still embraced and sweaty , both gazing at the slow-moving blades of the ceiling-fan. In a surge of love for her, he felt unable to restrain himself from confessing his wrecked marriage, his strongest will to divorce for her sake and his lack of money. She hardly batted an eyelid : she was so much in love with him and believed him so sincerely. How could such a man have remained a bachelor ? That blue-eyed little thing was absolutely subjugated , ready to do anything for such intense everlasting days with him ! Even, to give him her own life !

Little by little, Marion's innocence was breaking....

et pour votre douce patience. L'oie blanche aux dessous noirs va bientôt s'envoler. A vos postes !

A demain, "si vous le voulez bien".
