Bonjour.
Let's wait until the rain stops.
Until she spoke I hadn't realized she was not English.
You're not going out until you've finished this.

Hello
Here's my try
In the old days, he used to say he wanted to be an actor. He had never recorded songs until he met that TV producer. Since then he has become a star. He has already sold two hundred thousand CDs. He's the first singer in solo who has ever sold so many CDs with just one song. He says he will carry on until he has sold one million CDs.
He has recently said :
« I've always wanted to be famous, and that since my childhood. »
Thanks !
Bye bye

Bonjour Marie 11.
He used to say he wanted to be an actor. He hadn't recorded any song until he met that T.V. producer.
He's become a star since then. He's already sold two hundred thousand CDs. He's the first solo singer who has ever sold so many records with only one song. He says he's going to carry on until he's sold one million CDs.
He's recently said :
" It's always been my will that I should be famous, and that since my childhood."
Please, Marie, can I say : " I've always willed to be famous, etc.", in the last sentence ?
Thank you for this exercise and for answering my question as well !!!

Bonjour.
Voici la correction que je vous propose :
He used to say that he wanted to be an actor. He had never recorded a song until he met this TV producer. Since then, he has become a star. He has already sold two hundred thousand records. He is the first solo artist to have ever sold so many records with just one* song. He says he will go on until he has sold** one* million records.
He recently made an announcement :« I have always wanted to be famous since I was a child.»
I- To will est un verbe lexical.
If you will something to happen, you try to make it by the power of your thoughts.
"She willed herself to remember his name."
"She willed her eyes to open."
II- Dans un langage soutenu " To will = To want something "
"Stay or go, as you will."
"The King wills it."
III- To will : To officially give something that you own to someone else after you die. ──> En français: léguer.
"Joé had willed everything he possessed to them."
