Bonjour tout le monde,
- Exclamations portant sur un nom :
What a + noun
Such a + noun
ex : What a coincidence - It's such a coincidence
- Exclamations portant sur un adjectif :
That's/That sounds + adjectif
That sounds awful ! That's awful !
So + adjectif (sous-entend une conséquence)
She is so pretty (that all the boys love her )
Après un nom indénombrable il faut un article indéfini :
What a pretty garden
ainsi qu'après certains nombres indénombrables : shame, pity, hurry, relief, mess, shambles and disgrace
What a shame - What a mess...
et maintenant quelques petites phrases :
1 - Comme ils avaient l'air heureux !
2 - Comme il est grossier ! Quel mufle !
3 - Personne ne sait combien il avait été courageux.
4 - Quel petit paresseux ! Comme ton père sera mécontent quand il saura à
quel point tu as été paresseux !
5 - Nous avons eu une de ces tempêtes !
6 - Comme nous l'avons trouvé déprimé et aigri !
7 - Quelle chance a votre ami de passer ses vacances en Italie !
8 - Il faut que vous sachiez combien il est menteur !
9 - Il a fait une de ces colères !
10 - Ils ont bien ri quand je leur ai raconté à quel point il s'était rendu
ridicule !

5 - We've undergone such a storm!
6 - How depressed and embittered we've found her!
7 - What a luck your friend has to spend her vacation in Italy! / Your friend is such in a luck to spend her vacation in Italy!
8 - You've got to know how liar this guy is!
9 - He got so angry!
10 - They laughed a lot when I told them how much he'd made a fool of himself!
