Hello.
Please help me choose the sentence that is written correctly.
1.He asked me to tell him what was the greatest thing in the world.
2.He asked me to tell him what the greatest thing in the world was.

2.Now you may be wondering why I chose to play the Berlin defense.
Thank you in advance!

Hello
If we choose, we don't help you, we do it for you.
There is no interrogative form in a sentence reported in indirect speech.
Who is she ? Tell me who she is.
Where does she usually go ? I wonder where she usually goes.
What did she say ? Can you repeat what she said ?

Thank you! I have one more question but this time do it for me if you will.
Where did he go?
1.She asked me where he went.
2.She asked me where he had gone.

Hello
It depends if you do your reported speech now or later.
a) Where did he go ?
b) Sorry, what was that ?
a) I'm asking you when he went.
a) Where did they go ?
I don't know.
Three hours ago, he asked me where they had gone. I told him I didn't know.
