Hello,
I'm doing a presentation on psychopaths and at the end, I'm gonna ask the class what was their opinion on the subject before the presentation and if it changed after or remained the same.
Phrase 1 : What is your opinion about psychopaths? Did it change after my presentation? If yes, how? If not, why?
Phrase 2 : What was your opinion about psychopaths before my presentation ? Did it change ? If yes, how? If not, why?
Thanks for your replies.

Hello,
I think that 'Phrase 2 : What was your opinion about psychopaths before my presentation ? Did it change ? If yes, how? If not, why?' is better, more precise than the other one.
Phrase 1 is correct too, anyway.

Hello, it seems to me both phrases ask the same thing, just in a different chronological order.
One small adjustment: "If so, how? If not, why not?"
See you.

Hello
In my opinion the second sentence,'What was your opinion about psychopaths before my presentation ? Did it change ? If yes, how? If not, why?'is better.
In my country, short sentences or phrases are considered to be more powerful. The part of the second sentence,'Did it change?'give me this feeling.
Wish my suggestion could help you.
