    Please take these examples into your consideration and give an opinion.

    The following examples I read in one book grammar:

    It is an error to use the objective case in these situations:
    WRONG: She is as old as him.
    WRONG: She did not read so fast as them.
    WRONG: She wrote faster than him.

    My viewopinion :
    Perhaps the author suggest using the personal pronoun ( subject)
    (( I noticed all agree with using the pronoun object))

    it seems to me ( than) = a preposition,so using an object pronoun after it = correct (( object of the preposition ))
    1- She is not as \ so old as he is. I see changing to a negative looks finer ??
    2- She did not read so fast as they did. (I see using them is not wrong)
    3- She wrote faster than him. >> than he wrote

    I think the author suggested using the subject pronoun as I changed above ?
