    Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.

    This time, the number of vowels is given in 6 out of 10 answers.

    1- A light folding bed with handles for carrying the sick or wounded. ..... (r r h s c t t)

    2- The top edge of a cup, glass etc. ..... (r m b)

    3- A phrase which has been used too often and has become meaningless. ..... (l h c c)

    4- To take, catch or get hold of. ..... (b n) 1

    5- The female of certain deer, and of the rabbit, hare etc. ..... (d)

    6- To talk or say (something) loudly and dramatically. ..... (p s t) 2

    7- A thick lump, especially of earth. ..... (l c d) 1

    8- A destructive person. ..... (l h m d) 3

    9- (Of people, their actions etc) showing no emotion. ..... (n d l b) 1

    10- To lower one's (moral) standards by doing something). ..... (t p s) 2

    Here is my work, I'm not sure of my results... !!!
    1- A light folding bed with handles for carrying the sick or wounded. (r r h s c t t) stretcher = une civière.
    2- The top edge of a cup, glass etc. (r m b) brim = le bord.
    3- A phrase which has been used too often and has become meaningless. (l h c c) cliché = un cliché.
    4- To take, catch or get hold of. (b n) 1 nab = piquer, chouraver...
    5- The female of certain deer, and of the rabbit, hare etc. (d) doe = biche, hase, rate, lapine....
    6- To talk or say (something) loudly and dramatically. (p s t) 2 spout = palabrer... ?
    7- A thick lump, especially of earth. (l c d) 1 clod = motte de terre.
    8- A destructive person. (l h m d) 3 hoodlum = voyou.
    9- (Of people, their actions etc) showing no emotion. (n d l b) 1 bland = fade, sans relief ???
    10- To lower one's (moral) standards by doing something). (t p s) 2 stoop = s'abaisser à...
