    Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.

    All the numbers of vowels are given.

    1- A long flat piece of wood, metal etc, balanced on a central support so that one end of it goes up and the other goes down. ..... (s w s) 3

    2- Goods taken from an enemy by force (especially in a wartime). ..... (t b) 3

    3- A fixed sum or quantity given regularly. ..... (w l c n l) 4

    4- An Indian king or prince. ..... (j h r) 2

    5- To prevent from being seen clearly. ..... (h d l s) 2

    6- A loud noise like hard objects falling, striking against each other etc. ..... (t t c r l) 2

    7- A great desire or wish for something. ..... (g g n n l) 2

    8- To make it difficult for (someone) to do something. ..... (m r h p) 2

    9- Serious or over-serious. ..... (s r t n) 3

    10- To avoid making a definite decision in order to give oneself more time. ..... (l t s l) 1

    1- A long flat piece of wood, metal etc, balanced on a central support so that one end of it goes up and the other goes down. (s w s) 3 seesaw = balançoire tape-cul.
    2- Goods taken from an enemy by force (especially in a wartime). (t b) 3 booty = le butin.
    3- A fixed sum or quantity given regularly. (w l c n l) 4 allowance = allocation, indemnités.
    4- An Indian king or prince. (j h r) 2 rajah = rajah.
    5- To prevent from being seen clearly. (h d l s) 2 shield = protéger.
    6- A loud noise like hard objects falling, striking against each other etc. (t t c r l) 2 clatter = cliqueter, s'entrechoquer.
    7- A great desire or wish for something. (g g n n l) 2 longing = envie, désir.
    8- To make it difficult for (someone) to do something. (m r h p) 2 hamper = freiner.
