A question/ relative clause

That is the plane (that) ( which) has just landed.
The man (who)(that) is singing is Laura's uncle.
Hello
I have a question about relative clauses
Above two sentences, I think I can use "that" in both sentences.
but the answer took only which and who each question.
Could you tell me why it's incorrect to use "That"?
Thanks .

Good evening,
"That" can be used as a relative pronoun in every case. Link
"Who", however, is to be used for persons (and according to the link above, also animals). If you don't know how to choose between "that" and "which", just have a look on the second link that explains everything.

Hello
I think sometimes we choose the best answer. When we have both who, and that the best one is who for the question the man......
Also for the other one when we have that and which together for items we choose which as the best one. But it's rare to see both correct answer together, I've never seen any way. The best
