Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.

I'm still giving you all the numbers of vowels.

1- A tall, pointed tower, especially one built on the roof of a church. ..... (p s r) 2

2- An article of clothing. ..... (m g t r n) 2

3- Not able to produce crops, fruit, young etc. ..... (r r n b) 2

4- To hate very much. ..... (h l t) 3

5- A state of wild confused movement or disorder. ..... (m t r l) 3

6- To meet especially unexpectedly. ..... (c r t n n) 4

7- A usually short, not very thick, piece of wood, metal etc used to fasten or mark something. ..... (g p) 1

8- Friendly. ..... (g g t n) 4

9- Sad or depressed. ..... (m l g) 3

10- A frame to be jumped in a race. ..... (d h l r) 2

2- An article of clothing. (m g t r n) 2 garment = vêtement.
3- Not able to produce crops, fruit, young etc. (r r n b) 2 barren = stérile, aride.
4- To hate very much. (h l t) 3 loathe = exécrer.
5- A state of wild confused movement or disorder. ..... (m t r l) 3 turmoil = agitation, bouleversement.
6- To meet especially unexpectedly. (c r t n n) 4 encounter = rencontrer.
7- A usually short, not very thick, piece of wood, metal etc used to fasten or mark something. (g p) 1 peg = pince à linge, cheville, patère, sardine...
8- Friendly. (g g t n) 4 outgoing = sociable, extraverti.
9- Sad or depressed. (m l g) 3 gloomy = triste, couvert, sombre, sinistre, morose.
10- A frame to be jumped in a race. (d h l r) 2 hurdle = haie, obstacle.
