    Bonjour à l'Équipe habituelle qui ne va pas tarder à me rejoindre !

    Here is my try:
    1- To (cause to) make a series of short, sharp noises by knocking together. (t t r l) 2 rattle = cliqueter, crépiter, claque… faire un bruit de ferrailles, ou de crécelles.
    2- A person or thing that fills a gap in an emergency. (p p s g t) 2 stopgap = bouche-trou. J’ai toujours été un bouche-trou dans ma carrière !
    3- A state of fear. (k f n) 1 funk = trouille, frousse, peur.
    4- Very wet ground; marsh. (b g) 1 bog = marais, tourbière.
    5- Taking little food, drink etc. (m t b s s) 5 abstemious = sobre.
    6- Carrying a lot; heavily loaded "with". (d l n) 2 laden = à forte charge.
    7- A disadvantage. (w k d c r b) 2 drawback = inconvenient, désavantage.
    8- The legal term for something written which is harmful to a person's reputation. (b l l) 2 libel = diffamation.
    9- A person unpleasant in manner, temper etc. (p h w s s) 2 waspish = caustique, corrosif.
    10- A type of wild animal similar to a dog or wolf. (k j l c) 2 jackal = canis aureus = chacal.

    6- Carrying a lot; heavily loaded "with". ..... LADEN

    7- A disadvantage. ..... DRAWBACK
