    Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.

    Since you worked harder than usual last time, I'm giving you all the numbers of vowels.

    1- A dealer who buys goods from the person who makes or grows them, and sells them to shopkeepers or to the public; a wholesaler. ..... (d l n m m d) 3

    2- (An) act of stopping or state or process of being stopped. ..... (p s g t p) 3

    3- (Of men) polite; well-mannered. ..... (m t g n l n l) 4

    4- A discoloured mark. .... (t b h l c) 1

    5- The words an actor has to say. ..... (n s l) 2

    6- Any of several kinds of small singing bird. ..... (b w r r l) 2

    7- To make no attempt to hinder (something wrong or illegal). ..... (n v c n) 3

    8- A split or crack. ..... (f r t) 1

    9- A person who is officially a leader but who does little or has little power. ..... (h g f r d) 5

    Hi Everybody!

    Here is my work:
    1- A dealer who buys goods from the person who makes or grows them, and sells them to shopkeepers or to the public; a wholesaler. (d l n m m d) 3 middleman = intermédiaire.
    2- (An) act of stopping or state or process of being stopped. (p s g t p) 3 stoppage = arrêt.
    3- (Of men) polite; well-mannered. (m t g n l n l) 4 gentlemanly = galant, courtois, raffiné.
    4- A discoloured mark.(t b h l c) 1 blotch = tache, marbrure.
    5- The words an actor has to say.(n s l) 2 lines = rôle, texte d’un acteur.
    6- Any of several kinds of small singing bird.(b w r r l) 2 warbler = (les oiseaux qui gazouillent) fauvette, pouillot, paruline (…), rousserolle…???
    7- To make no attempt to hinder (something wrong or illegal).(n v c n) 3 connived = fermer les yeux sur… être de connivence.
    8- A split or crack. (f r t) 1 rift = fente, fissure.
    9- A person who is officially a leader but who does little or has little power.(h g f r d) 5 figurehead = homme de paille, Enfin ! "EURÊKA" !!!.
    10- (Of someone's face etc) very pale with shock. (h n s) 2 ashen = blême.
