    Become poor/correction
    Message de sasha200 posté le 28-01-2019 à 14:00:27 (S | E | F)
    Hi Everyone,
can someone help to correct this email, please?
    Thank you for any reply.

What does it feel like to become poor after being wealthy?
The feeling is horrible. I was living in my home country when I did not even need to worry about if the rent has been paid if I have enough food in my house. I bought things without even thinking twice if I can afford it. This has changed since I moved to the USA. I am a healthcare professional and I did everything by book. I obtained my license, however; I could not find a job for one year. I started working in a place where they paid 5$ / hour+ commission. I was not good at selling that time which means I was only paid 50$ for 10 hours working. I could not afford the minimum things. I was living paycheck-to-paycheck, horrible feeling.

    Hello, here's my attempt:

What does it feel like to become poor after being wealthy?
The feeling is horrible. I was living in my homeland when I did not even need to worry about whether the rent has been paid or whether I have enough food in my house. I bought things without even thinking twice whether I can afford it. This has changed since I moved (since + present perfect) to the USA. I am a healthcare professional and I did everything by book. I obtained my license, however; I could not find a job for one year. I started working in a place where they paid 5$ (place dollar) per hour+ commission. I was not good at selling that time which means I was only paid 50$ for 10 hours working. I could not afford the minimum things. I was living paycheck-to-paycheck, horrible feeling.

    Bonjour.

What does it feel like to become poor after being wealthy?
The feeling is horrible. I was living in my home country (when : pourquoi aucune interruption) , I did not even need to worry (about : inutile) if the rent
    (has been : past simple)
paid or if I (have : past simple) enough food in my house. I bought things without even thinking twice if I (can : past simple) afford it. This has changed since I moved to the USA. I have been (cela dit je pense que le présent pourrait marcher aussi) a healthcare professional and I did everything by THE book. I obtained my license (permis ?), however; I could not find a job for one year. I started working in a place where they paid (5$ : ordre) / hour+ commission. I was not good at selling that time , which means I was only paid (50$ : pareil) for 10 (hours working non c'est : hours' work). I could not afford (the minimum things : bizarre) plutôt : a minimum living standard
I was living paycheck-to-paycheck, (XXX) horrible feeling

    Hello !

Je ne sais plus trop où reprendre ... Certaines fautes ont été corrigées, d'autres ajoutées ... Allons-y !

What does it feel like to become poor after being wealthy?(pour moi, toute cette phrase est très maladroite et demanderait à être reformulée ...)
The feeling is horrible. I was living in my home country (when : pourquoi aucune interruption) ,(il faut du lieu! pas du temps ...) I did not even need to worry (about : inutile) if the rent
(has been : past simple)(j'aurais mis une antériorité ...) paid or if I (have : past simple) enough food in my house. I bought things without even thinking twice if I (can : past simple) afford it. This has changed since I moved to the USA. I have been (cela dit je pense que le présent pourrait marcher aussi)[ une durée éclaircirait le tout, surtout avec le prétérite derrière ... mais présent OK] a healthcare professional and I did(si le présent est conservé, il faudra étoffer ce passé ...) everything by THE book. I obtained my license (permis ?)[quel permis? de conduire? à préciser...], however; I could not find a job for one year. I started working in a place where they paid (5$ : ordre)[ c'est bien $5 / hour+ commission. I was not good at selling XX that time , which means I was only paid (50$ : pareil) for 10 (hours working non c'est : X 10 hours' work). I could not afford (the minimum things : bizarre) plutôt : a minimum living standard (construire avec bare) I was living paycheck-to-paycheck (cf Lien internet
    , (XXX) X horrible feeling.
