    Hello !
Would you please tell me what is the difference between need and require is?
And can we use the synonyms instead of each other? interchangeably?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
While yes , the words can be used interchangeably, such as :

I'm hungry so I need some food.
    I'm hungry so I require some food/nutrition.

Here people tend to use the former, or :

    This problem needs a mechanic.
    This problem requires a mechanic.

Here people tend to use the latter.
Obviously both forms are correct, so it is just a matter of preference in my opinion.
    Hope this helped a little
