    Hello
let me this time ask about Any\ subject- verb agreement
I know any = singular indefinite pronoun.
    here an example:
Any of those nails ______ fine.
    is \ are
A page online chooses ( are) as a correct answer.
    Please can you explain?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best wishes

    Hello,

"Any of those nails are fine" is correct.
Because any is an indefinite determiner which refers in this case to indefinite number of nails.
