    Letter/sports facilities
    Message de ana24 posté le 13-05-2018 à 21:24:10 (S | E | F)
    Bonsoir,
    je vous sollicite de nouveau
Repérez-vous des erreurs dans mon texte ? Merci beaucoup pour votre aide.
    Bonne semaine !
It has recently been announced that your area will receive funding for a range of new sports and fitness facilities for young people. Your council is inviting residents from the area to write letters suggesting how the funds should best be spent. Your letter should explain :
→ why this funding is to be welcomed
→ what facilities should be provided
→ how the new facilities will make a difference to young people in the area.
    Write your letter.

    Dear Mr, William,
I am writing to you as regards to the new sports and fitness facilities that are intended to be built for young people.
I sincerely applause this decision as our city considerably lacks sports facilities and consequently, neither does it encourages young people to keep fit nor does it promotes physical activities as an incentive to socialise, release tension or discover oneself a new passion.
The city should aim to provide a wide range of diverse facilities to make sure that they meet the many young people’s interests. I suggest creating a fitness club where they could take part in daily classes such as cardios sessions, dance or exercise with machines. Not only would it be a sport facility but as well a social hub. Furthermore, some money should be subsidize in buying some bikes ; I recommend creating safe pathways to encourage youngsters to commute in a more eco-friendly way. Moreover, many of them wish to have a skate-park and an outdoor swimming pool, which would be of a great success in summer !

As a sport teacher, I am a strong advocate of physical activities. I utterly believe that everyone can find enjoyment in them, whether it is an active walk in a park, team sports or something more adventurous. Then, a city should provide young people with facilities helping them to find what feels good for their mind and body, outside school and without the pressure of grades. Besides, in addition to cultivate a pleasant and social city, it would help to fight obesity and ingrain healthy habits for their future adult life.

I am looking forward to hearing more about this project!
    Yours sincerely
    Tom
