Pouvez-vous me dire si ce texte est correct :
In the end, it's up to Mother Nature to decide whether or not you can run a contest. Safety is always priority #1 and competition had to be called off after course inspection, due to strong winds and rain. A huge thank you to everyone who braved the elements to be with us and we'll see you next year !

j'aurais mis the competition had to be called off, c'est un évènement précis et défini. Pas de problème pour le reste.

Bonjour,
Je suis d'accord avec gerondif. Ajoutez le mot "the" avant competition et c'est bon.
