    Hello, Dear Friends,

    I) Please, help my student! He really needs you! He has tried to write a summary of an article he has just read, but I’m afraid there are « a few mistakes » left... Can you correct them for him, please? for you help.

on school just like building close when temps is to low they can be close when the temp are putting the kid ‘s wealth dangerous the old buildings contain the hot and in any building the window cant be opened for security but school sell dome takes "heat days" canceling klas some far more titcher beleive the temperature late september ritcht the level to be a safty hasar a little postid report on socialnetwork dscribing titcher and kid have headake and nozeblids or passing in school because of hit no airconditionnin lift student in the City and several subburb school to sweat across lessons with seazon height temperature hovering around 95 degrees = 35°C if your home is well isolated and shadowed it can be abble to resist severals days of extrime hit close door window and curten since the hit of the day must help the house tostaying colle that outside ceiling fans prooved air mouvment to do you fill coll.

II) Can you, please, reorder the words so as to make meaningful sentences… All the words must be used, none should be added!

    1. BECOME / CLOSED/ LIKELY/ HOT/ UNINSULATED/ UP/ A/ WOULD/ ARE/ DURING/ IF/ TOO/ VERY/ HEATWAVE/ HOMES/ THEY/ = 16 WORDS.

    2. TEMPERATURE/ MORNING/ OVERNIGHT/ POSSIBLE/ AFTERNOON/ HOUSE/ AS/ AS/ TO/ IS/ THE/ LATE/ EARLY/ INSIDE/ FROM/ IS/ IF/ FALL/ OPENING/ MUCH/ BENEFICIAL/ BELOW / TEMPERATURES / = 23 WORDS.

    3. DO/ REQUIRE/ FOOD/ THAN/ WEIGHT/ MAMMALS/ ANIMALS/ BIRDS/ ENERGY/ COLD-BLOODED/ SAME/ AND/ MORE/ OF/ AND/ THE/ MUCH/ = 17 WORDS

    I give you THE FORCE.

    Hello!
Don't forget : "All play and no work makes Jack a silly boy..." BUT "All work and no play makes Jack a DULL boy..." and who wants to be DULL?
Ne soyez pas "trop raisonnables" ... Pensez aussi à vous amuser !

    Hello

    Hello!
"Likely" ou pas, c'est bien "TOO" qu'il faut lire !

    Réponse : Rack your Brains and Help/17 de maxwell, postée le 03-03-2018 à 12:59:43 (S | E)
    ah

    Hello!

    Hello Dear HERE4U
READY TO BE CORRECTED, SOMETMES I play AT RIDDLES

on school just like building close when temps is to low they can be close when the temp are putting the kid ‘s wealth dangerous the old buildings contain the hot and in any building the window cant be opened for security but school sell dome takes "heat days" canceling klas some far more titcher beleive the temperature late september ritcht the level to be a safty hasar a little postid report on socialnetwork dscribing titcher and kid have headake and nozeblids or passing in school because of hit no airconditionnin lift student in the City and several subburb school to sweat across lessons with seazon height temperature hovering around 95 degrees = 35°C if your home is well isolated and shadowed it can be abble to resist severals days of extrime hit close door window and curten since the hit of the day must help the house tostaying colle that outside ceiling fans prooved air mouvment to do you fill coll.

IN schoolS just AS IN building, THEY close when THE TEMPERATURE is TOO low, they can be CLOSED when the TEMPERATURES are putting the kid ‘s wealth IN DANGER .
The old buildings HELD BACK(retenir) the HEAT in any building WHEN the WINDOWS CAN’T be opened BY SEFATY PRECAUTIONS but SCHOOLS SELDOM take "heat days" CANCELLED CLASS
Far more(beaucoup plus de) TEACHERS BELIEVE, the temperature IN late September CAN REACH A level WHICH be a SAFETY HAZARD(être dangereux).

A SHORT report PUBLISHED on SOCIAL NETWORK DESCRIBING TEACHERS and kids SAID : THEY/HAD A HEADACHE and NOSEBLEED BY STAYING (en restant à l’école) in school because of ( DUE TO )THE HEAT: No AIR-CONDITIONNING VENTILATES( ventiler les étudiants students in the City and several SUBUB schoolS SO THAT THEY SHOULD NOT sweat (afin qu’ils ne transpirent pas)DURING THE lessons IN HIGH temperature SEASONS BEING IN THE UPPER (frôler) 95 degrees = 35°C

If your home is well isolated and SHADED, it IS CAPABLE OF RESISTING SEVERAL days of EXTREME HEAT
SINCE THE HEAT OF THE DAYSO, close THE doors, THE windows and THE CURTAINS WHICH WILL BE ABLE TO help the house TO REMAIN COLDER THAN OUTSIDE /FRESH, AND A ceiling fans WILL ABLE TO SUPPLY air MOUVEMENT SO THAT YOU FELT SOME FRESHNESS. (phrase remaniéee)

    READY TO BE CORRECTED
    1. BECOME / would/ CLOSED/ LIKELY/ HOT/ UNINSULATED/ UP/ A/ ARE/ DURING/ IF/ TOO/ VERY/ HEATWAVE/ HOMES/ THEY/ = 16 WORDS

If during a heatwave, ininsulated homes are too closed up, they would likely become very hot

    2. TEMPERATURE/ MORNING/ OVERNIGHT/ POSSIBLE/ AFTERNOON/ HOUSE/ AS/ AS/ TO/ IS/ THE/ LATE/ EARLY/ INSIDE/ FROM/ IS/ IF/ FALL/ OPENING/ MUCH/ BENEFICIAL/ BELOW / TEMPERATURES / = 23 WORDS.

I Know Is not the right solution , however it is mine a little shaky

If from early morning, to late afternoon; the temperature is inside the house, as beneficial as possible is opening overnight; temperatures fall below

    3. DO/ REQUIRE/ FOOD/ THAN/ WEIGHT/ MAMMALS/ ANIMALS/ BIRDS/ ENERGY/ COLD-BLOODED/ SAME/ AND/ MORE/ OF/ AND/ THE/ MUCH/ = 17 WORDS
The Mammals and birds require much more energy and food than cold-blooded animals of the same weight

Bon, d'accord ! Ce que je donne est trop facile ...

Edit: Bravo à la téméraire Taiji qui s'est jetée à l'eau avec courage even if she has felt like "playing a guessing game"! (Beware: to play = verbe régulier; ne pas confondre avec "to pay, I paid, paid= payer). Allez ... Bon courage à tous !

    Hello!

Life is unfair!

I hope that helped a little... If not, ask for other hints...

EDIT: II)2 commence par "Opening" et finit par "temperature". is that better?

    Hello vaiana,
I'm not really surprised since your co-workers (who have worked on this sort of exercises for weeks, months or even years...) are saying that this exercise is particularly difficult... I suggest you go and try to work on: Lien internet
    Lien internet
    Lien internet

They're easier and varied exercises, and you can be helped by "your friends' tries" and the "corrigés" which are at the end of each exercise.
I promise next exercise will be easier...

    Dear here4u,
Like an ordeal, this try was,
    It made me sweat,
In spite of this chilly day.
    On my version that,
    You can find hereunder,
    Ready to be corrected,
    Anyway I bet…...

on school just like building close when temps is to low they can be close when the temp are putting the kid ‘s wealth dangerous the old buildings contain the hot and in any building the window cant be opened for security but school sell dome takes "heat days" canceling klas some far more titcher beleive the temperature late september ritcht the level to be a safty hasar
a little postid report on socialnetwork dscribing titcher and kid have headake and nozeblids or passing in school because of hit no airconditionnin lift student in the City and several subburb school to sweat across lessons with seazon height temperature hovering around 95 degrees = 35°C
if your home is well isolated and shadowed it can be abble to resist severals days of extrime hit close door window and curten since the hit of the day must help the house tostaying colle that outside ceiling fans prooved air mouvvment to do you fill coll
IN SCHOOLS ,just AS IN building , THEY close when THE TEMPERATURE is TOO low.
SO they can be CLOSED when TEMPERATURE IS putting the KIDS’ HEALTH IN DANGER. The old buildings contain the HEAT and in any building the WINDOWS CAN’T be opened for SAFETY PURPOSE. But SCHOOLS SELDOM TAKE “heat days”, CANCELLING CLASSES .Far more OFTEN THAN TEACHER BELIEVE, the temperature IN late SEPTEMBER REACHES SUCH A level SO AS to be a SAFETY HAZARD. A SHORT report, POSTED on SOCIAL NETWORK, DESCRIBES AS TEACHERS and KIDS have HEADHACHE and NOSEBLEED or
pass OUT AT school FOR OPPRESSIVE HEAT, DUE TO THE LACK OF AIRCONDITIONING. STUDENTS in the City and several SUBURB SCHOOLS,
SWEATING ALL OVER the lessons with SEASON HIGH temperature hovering
    Around 95 Degree = 35° C.
If your HOUSE is well isolated and SHADY it COULD be ABLE to resist SEVERAL days of extreme HEAT. MOREOVER, TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION the heat of the day, ceiling fans, MAKING air MOVE, SHOULD help the house to stay COLDER than outside AND MAKE you FEEL
    COOL.

II) Can you, please, reorder the words so as to make meaningful sentences… All the words must be used, none should be added!
    1. BECOME /WOULD/ CLOSED/ LIKELY/ HOT/ UNINSULATED/ UP/ A/ ARE/ DURING/ IF/ TOO/ VERY/ HEATWAVE/ HOMES/ THEY/ = 16 WORDS.
Uninsulated homes, would likely become very hot during a heatwave, if they are closed up, too.

    2. TEMPERATURE/ MORNING/ OVERNIGHT/ POSSIBLE/ AFTERNOON/ HOUSE/ AS/ AS/ TO/ IS/ THE/ LATE/ EARLY/ INSIDE/ FROM/ IS/ IF/ FALL/ OPENING/ MUCH/ BENEFICIAL/ BELOW / TEMPERATURES / = 23 WORDS.
As temperature is inside, opening house, if possible from late afternoon to early morning, is much beneficial, as the temperatures fall below overnight.

    3. DO/ REQUIRE/ FOOD/ THAN/ WEIGHT/ MAMMALS/ ANIMALS/ BIRDS/ ENERGY/ COLD-BLOODED/ SAME/ AND/ MORE/ OF/ AND/ THE/ MUCH/ = 17 WORDS
The mammals do require much more energy and food than birds and cold-blooded animals of same weight .
    ….Though not convinced too much.
Thank you very much for the demanding exercise.
I hope you have a great week.
    So long

II) recorder the words ready to correct je n 'ai pas le temps de chercher mieux pour la phrase 2, je sens que je tourne autour mais c'est trop long je donne ma langue
    1. BECOME/WOULD/CLOSED/ LIKELY/ HOT/ UNINSULATED/ UP/ A /ARE/ DURING/ IF/ TOO /VERY/ HEATWAVE/ HOMES/ THEY/=16

During a heatwave if uninsulated homes are too closed up , they would likely become very hot

Opening the house as from late afternoon to early morning is much beneficial , as if is possible overnight temperature fall below inside temperatures .

Hello my dear Here4u , and thanks a lot for this brain teaser ! FINISHED FOR THIS EXERCISE.

    Here is my work:
Can you, please, reorder the words so as to make meaningful sentences… All the words must be used, none should be added!
    1.BECOME / CLOSED/ LIKELY/ HOT/ UNINSULATED/ UP/ A/ WOULD/ ARE/ DURING/ IF/ TOO/ VERY/ HEATWAVE/ HOMES/ THEY/ = 16 WORDS.
    My first sentence:
IF CLOSED HOMES ARE TOO UNINSULATED, THEY WOULD BECOME VERY LIKELY HOT UP DURING A HEATWAVE. 16 words.

    2. TEMPERATURE/ MORNING/ OVERNIGHT/ POSSIBLE/ AFTERNOON/ HOUSE/ AS/ AS/ TO/ IS/ THE/ LATE/ EARLY/ INSIDE/ FROM/ IS/ IF/ FALL/ OPENING/ MUCH/ BENEFICIAL/ BELOW / TEMPERATURES / = 23 WORDS.
    My second sentence:
OPENING LATE AS OVERNIGHT AS EARLY MORNING IS MUCH BENEFICIAL TO THE INSIDE HOUSE TEMPERATURES IF IS POSSIBLE FALL BELOW FROM AFTERNOON TEMPERATURE. = 23 words.

    3. DO/ REQUIRE/ FOOD/ THAN/ WEIGHT/ MAMMALS/ ANIMALS/ BIRDS/ ENERGY/ COLD-BLOODED/ SAME/ AND/ MORE/ OF/ AND/ THE/ MUCH/ = 17 WORDS
    My third sentence:
MAMMALS AND BIRDS REQUIRE MUCH ENERGY AND MORE FOOD THAN DO COLD-BLOODED ANIMALS OF THE SAME WEIGHT.

    See you soon !

Rack your Brains and Help/17 FINISHED FOR THIS EXERCISE TOO ! I don't have modified the first part, of course !

Hello, Dear Here4u  ! Thank you, I wish I 've made no big mistakes, because his English is REALLY HORRIBLE and CATASTROPHIC ! He must really work harder... musn't he? He might be held back a year, and wear a wonderful dunce' scap, as in my first school year, bad students were wearing them !!!

    Here is my little help:
AT school, just AS BUILDINGS close when WE ARE AT LOW TEMPERATURE, they can be CLOSED when the TEMPERATURE risks the KIDS‘ HEALTH. THE DANGEROUS old buildings KEEP the HEAT and in any building the WINDOWS MUST NOT be opened for security. But school SELDOM TAKES « HEAT DAYS » CANCELLING CLASSES. AND THEN SOME TEACHERS BELIEVE the temperature IN THE VERY LAST DAYS OF SEPTEMBER REACHES the level to be a MERE COINCIDENCE... A FEW POSTED REPORTS on social NETWORK DESCRIBING TEACHERS and KIDS HAVING HEADACHES and NOSE BLOUD, or MISSING SCHOOL because of HEAT, no AIR-CONDITIONED, in lift STUDENTS in the city and sereral SUBURBS to SCHOOLS, ALL THAT MAKE to sweat ON with HIGH TEMPERATURE SEASON hovering AROUND 95°F equals 35°C. If your home is well INSULATED and shadowed it can resist SEVERAL days of EXTREME HEAT. CLOSE DOORS, WINDOWS and CURTAINS AS SOON AS the HEAT of the day must help the house FROM ROASTING. COOL OF that outside ceiling, BUT ALSO fans BRINGS DISPLACEMENT OF AIR to MAKE, so that you FEEL COOL DOWN.

And Here is my translation, about what I have undertstood:

VERY DIFFICULT BUT I DO LOVE IT, THANKS !

Schools , as buildings, are closed when external temperature is too low .They must be closed because in this condition kid's health are in danger .
Old buildings retain heat and in these buildings windows musn't be opened for safety reasons.
Classes are seldom cancelled during heat days .
Far more often than teachers believe ,temperature in late september can reach the safety hazard level.
A report posted in social network says that teachers and kids have headache and nosebleed or are not be present in school in reason of heat .
The lack of air-conditionning make students in city and suburb schools sweat during the time of lessons in classes because the temperature in this season can overtake 35°C .
If your home is well insulated and shaded, it will be able to resist extreme heat days for many days .
Keeping doors Windows and curtains closed against heat of the day can help house to stay cooler than outside .
Ceiling fans produce air movements to make you feel more confortable .

II) Can you, please, reorder the words

    hello everyone,
thank you HERE4U for this new exercise,

I prefer not to give you the second one, I have not used all the words....

    I) Please, help my student! He really needs you!

SCHOOLS, just AS BUILDINGS ARE closeD when temperatures ARE too low, they can be closeD when the temperatureS are putting the kid ‘s health IN DANGER ; the old buildings RETAIN the HEAT and in Many buildingS the windowS can't be opened for security, but schools seldom take "heat days" for canceling CLASSes.
Sometime, far more Teachers THINK the temperatures in late September REACH the level to be a SAFETY HASARD ; a SHORT POSTED report on social network describes teacher and kid HAVING HEADACHE AND NOSEBLEEDS or passing off school because OF HAVING NO AIR CONDITIONING ; students in the City and several suburb schools SWEATING DURING LESSONS with SEASON HIGH temperatures over around 95 degrees = 35°C : If your house is well isolated and IN THE SHADE, it COULD be able to resist SEVERAL days of EXTREME HEAT ; door, windows and curtains closed since the HEAT OF THE DAY can help the house to stay COLD. And outside ceiling fans can GIVE AIR MOVEMENT to make YOU FEEL COOL.

ready to be corrected, thank you

hello, Hello, some trouble with this tranlation, only snatches

on school just like building close when temps is to low they can be close when the temp are putting the kid ‘s wealth dangerous the old buildings contain the hot and in any building the window cant be opened for security but school sell dome takes "heat days" CANCELLING klas some far more titcher beleive the temperature late september ritcht the level to be a safty hasar a little postid report on socialnetwork dscribing titcher and kid have headake and nozeblids or passing in school because of hit no airconditionnin lift student in the City and several subburb school to sweat across lessons with seazon height temperature hovering around 95 degrees = 35°C if your home is well isolated and shadowed it can be abble to resist severals days of extrime hit close door window and curten since the hit of the day must help the house tostaying colle that outside ceiling fans prooved air mouvment to do you fill coll.

Schools just like buildings ARE CLOSED when THE TEMPERATURE is too low, they can be CLOSED when the TEMPERATURES are putting the

ALLOW "HOT days" CANCELLINGS FOR FAR MORE TEACHERS BELIEVE THAT THE LAST SEPTEMBRE REACHED THE LEVEL for more TEACHERS and kids have headACHES and nose BLEEDINGS

II) Can you, please, reorder the words so as to make meaningful sentences… All the words must be used, none should be added!

    FINISHED

    Hello Here4U
but I must say that this is the hardest exercise I've ever worked on! I think it would have been less difficult with the correct punctuation. Anyway, I did what I could...

    I) Help my student:

AT school[,] just AS OTHER PUBLIC BUILDINGS ARE CLOSED when THE TEMPERATURES ARE TOO low[,] IT can be CLOSED when the TEMPERATURES are putting the KIDS' HEALTH IN JEOPARDY[.]

[] Old buildings RETAIN the HEAT and in MANY BUILDINGS[,] the WINDOWS CAN'T be opened for security REASONS but school SELDOM takes "heat days" OFF[,] CANCELLING CLASS [.]

FURTHERMORE, some TEACHERS BELIEVE THAT the temperature IN late september HAS REACHED the level to be a SAFETY HAZARD[.]

A SHORT REPORT POSTED on SOCIAL NETWORKS DESCRIBED TEACHERS and KIDS HAVING HEADACHES and NOSEBLEEDS or passing in school because of HEAT[!]
[N]o AIR CONDITIONING HAS MADE STUDENTS in the City and several SUBURBAN SCHOOLS [] sweat THROUGH lessons with A SEASON'S HIGH temperature hovering AT around 95 degrees = 35°C[...]

BUT if your home is well isolated and SHADY[,] it MAY be ABLE to resist SEVERAL days of EXTREME HEAT [:]

CLOSING DOORS, WINDOWS and CURTAINS since the BEGINNING OF THE HEAT of the day SHOULD help the house STAY COOL AND OUTDOOR ceiling fans SHOULD PROVIDE air MOVEMENT to MAKE you FEEL COOL.

    II) Reorder the words:
    1) during a too hot heatwave, homes would very likely become closed up if they are uninsulated

    3) mammals and birds require much more food and energy than cold-blooded animals of the same weight do.

    Hello! Dearest Friends ...

Sorry I asked so much from you… I’ll try not to do it again (so much… )
Yet, your results were all the more satisfactory as you have, as usual, given me your best...
You're real champs and I congratulate all of you...

    I) Please, help my student! He really needs you! Correction :

In schools, just as (1) buildings are closed when temps are too low they can be closed when the temps are putting the kids' health (2) in danger. The old buildings contain the heat and in some buildings the windows can't be opened for security. But schools seldom take "heat days", cancelling classes.
Some former (3) teachers believe the temperatures late September reached the level of being a safety hazard. A few posted reports on social networks describing teachers and kids having headaches and nosebleeds (4), or passing out (5) in schools because of the heat. No air conditioning left students in the city and several suburban schools sweating through lessons, with unseasonably high temperatures hovering around 95 degrees.
If your home is well insulated (6) and shaded, it should be able to resist several days of extreme heat. Closing doors, windows and curtains during the heat of the day can help the house stay cooler than outside. Ceiling fans (7) provide air movement to make you feel cooler.

    (1) = just as = de même que
    (5) To pass out = to faint.

II) Can you, please, reorder the words so as to make meaningful sentences… All the words must be used, none should be added!

    1) If uninsulated homes are closed up during a heatwave they would/ will very likely become too hot.
    2) Opening the house as much as possible from late afternoon to early morning is beneficial if overnight temperatures fall below the inside temperature.
    3) Mammals and birds require much more food and energy than do cold-blooded animals of the same weight.

If uninsulated homes are closed up during a heatwave they would/ will very likely become too hot.

Opening the house as much as possible from late afternoon to early morning is beneficial if overnight temperatures fall below the inside temperature.

Mammals and birds require much more food and energy than do cold-blooded animals of the same weight.
