Neil Armstrong is considered as a (an devant un son voyelle)american(majuscule) hero because he is the first human(est un adjectif, rajoutez being) who to(structure incorrecte. à avoir marché se traduira par un infinitif passé) walk on the Moon. He was born on August the 5th in 1930 in Wapakoneta in Ohio .Before to be (before + ing) an astronaut , in 1945 he was determined to obtain his flying license. In 1951 he participed in the korea wars where he did 78 missions over Korea for a total of 121 flying hours and he received many rewards such as the Gold star .This man was remarkable and bold ,he got an engineering degree in 1955 he didn’t stop there and to futfill his objectives , the same year he decided to join the Nasa where he ovecame many obastacles who permited him to have many record(pluriel) such as to be(à mettre au gérondif) the first American civilian in space and the first to successfully docking(infinitif) of two vehicles in space during the Gemini 8 mission .During the Apollo 11 mission , to train, he took a LLRV(expliquez le sigle entre parenthèses) but the LLRV exploded and he managed to go out of the device at the last second.Armstrong have been(prétérit) courageous to take that risk on Earth. Apollo 11 was going to be hard but he didn’t give up and he went beyond his limits by taking up the challenge of the(supprimer) humanity to go and walk on the Moon in 1969 and he managed to pilot the Lunar Module to the moon's surface and over there he pronounced his famous sentence « That ‘s one small step for a man but one giant leap for mankind». Neil Armstong became a world hero and he was decorated by 17 countries and he finished his career as a teacher (non, en fait seulement au début juste après la mission lunaire) but he died in 2012.

    wikipedia:
He accepted a teaching position in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cincinnati,[113] having decided on Cincinnati over other universities, including his alma mater, Purdue, because it had a small aerospace department; he hoped that the faculty members would not be annoyed that he came straight into a professorship with only the USC master's degree.[114] He began the work while stationed at Edwards years before, and finally completed it after Apollo 11 by presenting a report on various aspects of Apollo, instead of a thesis on the simulation of hypersonic flight. The official job title he received at Cincinnati was University Professor of Aerospace Engineering. After teaching for eight years, he resigned in 1979 without explaining his reason for leaving.
