Hello,
Could anybody tell me, please, what following sentences are right or not ? For me, each time, both sentences are correct,isn’t it aren't they ?
John got his brother to bring his heavy bag / John got his brother brought his heavy bag
She had the children do their homework / She had the children done their homework

John got his brother to bring his heavy bag ...ok
John got his brother brought his heavy bag ...no, that doesn't mean anything
She had the children do their homework ...ok
She had the children done their homework ...no, that doesn't mean anything
When you use the past participle: brought/done and others, you turn into the passive voice, which doesn't work here.
